Noël Coward and Esme Wynne were best friends and frequent co-stars. They eventually decided to collaborate on scriptwriting Ida Collaborates is the first play either of them wrote, under the pen name "Esnomel". It was performed once, in 1917, starring Wynne and directed by Coward. Noël Collaborates is a presentation of that play, contextualised through the story of Coward and Wynne's relationship. In addition to Ida Collaborates, this piece presents a more personal side of Coward, based on the correspnences with his best friend.
